Joel M Smyth is a Northern Irish designer & maker of award winning jewellery

Joel seeks to make beautiful, well designed and exquisitely crafted  jewellery that brings joy to the wearer and viewers for many generations to come, all from his studio in County Down, Northern Ireland.

With roots in a family of artists and craftsmen, Joel studied at Belfast School of Art with a placement at the Art Academy of Latvia, graduating with a First Class Honours Jewellery Degree in 2021. After working with established goldsmiths, the Steensons of Glenarm, Joel started his own jewellery business in 2022.

He has exhibited, and been awarded or commissioned with international audiences, with his artworks having been exhibited across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

In addition to designing and making his own unique collections, Joel also makes wedding jewellery, bespoke designs for clients, and repairs or redesigns heirloom jewellery.
